UNIT 10 – Extension Management & Community Development

• प्रमुख प्राकृतिक एवं मानव निर्मित रेशों की विनिर्माण प्रक्रिया, गुणधर्म एवं उनके अंतिम उपयोग।
• कपड़ा निर्माण की विभिन्न विधियाँ-बुने हुए, बुने हुए और गैर-बुने हुए कपड़े, उनके गुण और अंतिम उपयोग।
• वस्त्र परिष्करण- वर्गीकरण, प्रसंस्करण और परिष्करण के उद्देश्य।

यूनिट 4 – परिधान डिजाइन

• शारीरिक माप-प्रक्रिया, आवश्यकता, आकृति के प्रकार और मानवमिति।
• वस्त्र निर्माण के लिए प्रयुक्त उपकरण एवं औजार-सिलाई मशीनों के लिए प्रयुक्त उन्नतियां एवं संलग्नक। प्रयुक्त मशीनों के प्रकार एवं उनके भाग।
• डिजाइन के तत्व और सिद्धांत तथा परिधान में इसका अनुप्रयोग। परिधानों के चित्रण और भाग।
• फैशन-शब्दावलियाँ, फैशन चक्र, फैशन सिद्धांत, फैशन अपनाना, फैशन पूर्वानुमान और फैशन को प्रभावित करने वाले कारक।

यूनिट 5 – संसाधन प्रबंधन और उपभोक्ता मुद्दे

• प्रबंधन अवधारणा, दृष्टिकोण, समय, ऊर्जा, धन, स्थान का प्रबंधन, प्रेरक कारक, प्रेरणा सिद्धांत और निर्णय लेना।
• प्रबंधन के कार्य-योजना, पर्यवेक्षण, नियंत्रण, आयोजन, मूल्यांकन, पारिवारिक जीवन चक्र चरण, संसाधनों की उपलब्धता और उपयोग।
• संसाधन-वर्गीकरण, विशेषताएँ, उपयोग को प्रभावित करने वाले कारक, संसाधन संरक्षण, समय प्रबंधन, कार्य सरलीकरण तकनीक, परिवर्तन के वर्ग, थकान और उसका प्रबंधन।

यूनिट 6 – आवास और आंतरिक डिजाइन

• डिज़ाइन के मूल तत्व - कला के तत्व, डिज़ाइन के सिद्धांत, रचना के सिद्धांत।
• रंग - रंग के आयाम, रंग के मनोवैज्ञानिक प्रभाव, रंग योजनाएं और रंग के उपयोग को प्रभावित करने वाले कारक।
• स्थान नियोजन और डिजाइन-आवास की आवश्यकता और स्थान नियोजन के महत्वपूर्ण सिद्धांत, घर की योजनाओं के प्रकार, निर्माण में अर्थव्यवस्था और विभिन्न आय समूहों के लिए योजना।
• भवन विनियम-मानदण्ड और मानक, ज़ोनिंग, विशेष समूहों और क्षेत्रों के लिए आवास, तथा आवास वित्त।

यूनिट 7 – बाल/मानव विकास

यूनिट 8 – पारिवारिक अध्ययन

• विवाह एवं पारिवारिक रिश्तों की गतिशीलता।
• परिवार कल्याण दृष्टिकोण, कार्यक्रम एवं चुनौतियाँ, तथा राष्ट्रीय विकास में भूमिका।
• घरेलू हिंसा, वैवाहिक असामंजस्य, संघर्ष, संघर्ष का समाधान।
• अभिभावक शिक्षा, सकारात्मक पालन-पोषण और सामुदायिक शिक्षा।
• पारिवारिक अव्यवस्था, एकल अभिभावक परिवार।

यूनिट 9 – विकास के लिए संचार

• संचार की मूल बातें- प्रकृति, विशेषताएं, कार्य, प्रक्रिया, मॉडल, तत्व, सिद्धांत, बाधाएं, धारणा, अनुनय और सहानुभूति, संचार के प्रकार, संचार लेनदेन के स्तर (सेटिंग्स), सुनने की प्रक्रिया।
• संचार प्रणालियाँ और संचार सिद्धांत- मानव संपर्क सिद्धांत, जन संचार सिद्धांत, संदेश डिजाइन सिद्धांत, संचार प्रणालियाँ, संस्कृति और संचार।
• विकास की अवधारणा- सिद्धांत, मॉडल, मापन और विकास के संकेतक।
• विकास की अवधारणा- संचार मॉडल और दृष्टिकोण, प्रसार और नवाचार, जनसंचार माध्यम, सामाजिक विपणन।

यूनिट 10 – विस्तार प्रबंधन और सामुदायिक विकास

• विस्तार के ऐतिहासिक परिप्रेक्ष्य-भारत एवं अन्य देशों में विस्तार शिक्षा एवं विस्तार प्रणालियों की उत्पत्ति, विस्तार शिक्षा एवं विस्तार सेवा के उद्देश्य, विस्तार कार्यक्रम विकास का दर्शन एवं सिद्धांत।
